Glass railings have an elegant, modern look that adds value to your property. Our enclosures provide an excellent wind barrier without obstructing views. Suitable for both interior and exterior spaces, our glass railing systems add a unique touch to any dwelling.
Unlike hardwoods, glass railings don’t need repeated painting or finishing for enhancing their durability. This is a vital consideration since decks/patios are continuously exposed to external, weather conditions. Clearview Glass Railings use tempered laminated panels of Hercules Glass with 316 stainless steel solid core spigots.
Neither glass nor the 316 stainless steel solid core spigots corrode when exposed to water. The outer surface of glass panels is better suited to tolerate temperature extremes. As a result, unlike hardwood railings, glass railings are not vulnerable to surface cracking.
CVGR Hercules Glass Panels are test proven to hold an amazing 2,520# vertical load and a 820# horizontal load. They are made with two layers of 6mm tempered glass that is laminated together with a 1.5mm layer of a PVB plastic glass panel.
This makes glass railings as sturdy and safe as wood or purely metal based railings. The use of transparent glass ensures that visibility through the deck is maintained. Blocking of the external view is a major issue with metal/wood railings.
ClearView Glass Railings offer a clean, contemporary look to trump any deck railing system. For many, ClearView Glass Railings constitute the design gold standard and provide the most visual appeal.
If your deck, patio, or veranda looks out onto a view, ClearView Glass Railings are an excellent way to ensure that view is preserved or otherwise unobstructed. ClearView Glass Railings are entirely transparent. You and your guests will have a great vantage point from your deck!
Because glass appears neat and finished, it is one of the only porch railing systems that can incorporate multiple design elements without looking cluttered or hodgepodge. This gives you more versatility and options when it comes to the actual design of your outdoor space.
Unlike other handrails for decks, glass creates a solid barrier between the 316 stainless steel spigots and the ground below. Therefore, if you have an elevated deck or screened porch, glass decking product by ClearView Glass Railings will eliminate the inconvenience of losing your view while providing safe barrier.
Most glass railings are made from 1/4″ thick tempered glass. CVGR Hercules Glass Panels are 13mm thick and are test proven to hold an amazing 2,520# vertical load and a 820# horizontal load. They are made with two layers of 6mm tempered glass that is laminated together with a 1.5mm layer of a PVB plastic glass panel.

“You have to clean glass all the time.” I hear this a lot and it drives me a little nuts. Glass isn’t the annoying pain in the neck that some people make it out to be. Glass railings require very little maintenance, typical cleaning intervals is every 2 or 3 years.
Cleaning glass deck railings can be as simple as wiping the glass down with a squeegee or spraying it with a hose. Another great aspect of ClearView Glass Railings is that almost everything—including those marker scribbles from your two-year-old—can be cleaned off glass without damaging the surface.
