ClearView Glass Railings warrants its tempered glass to meet the requirements of ASTM C 1048 and BS EN 12150 and laminated glass to meet the requirements of ASTM C 1172 and BS EN 14449:2005 for a period of Five (5) years from the date of manufacture.
In the event that ClearView Glass Railings’ tempered glass is found to be defective, or laminated glass
have below problems: (a) edge separation or delamination other than that which occurs within 20mm of the original glass edges. (b) visible or visual defects, inclusions or faults that can be seen from a distance of at least 3 metres and which are not within the acceptable limits, ClearView Glass Railings will replace the glass, spigots and spigot covers without charge, ex-works, or at ClearView Glass Railings’ option, refund the purchase of the product.
If ClearView Glass Railings elects to replace the defective product, ClearView Glass Railings will not be
liable for any other expenses involved in the removal of the said product, installation of replacement product, or any other incidental or consequential damages. Labour costs are not covered by this warranty. The warranty only applies to product which is the same size, shape and form as originally supplied by ClearView Glass Railings product.
ClearView Glass Railings expressly assumes no responsibility for glass breakage; product failure due to
improper usage; incompatibility with other coatings, sealants, gaskets, lubricants, insulation, or any other materials; faulty installation or building construction or design; scratches or abrasions to the product; abnormal weather conditions, or damage caused by cleaners, solvents, acids, alkalies or any other chemicals used on or around the films. ClearView Glass Railings assumes no responsibility for any spontaneous breakage of glass. ClearView Glass Railings reserves the right to inspect, in the field, any tempered glass and laminated glass which is alleged to be defective.
The purchaser’s exclusive remedy is limited to the legal remedies described in this warranty. ClearView Glass Railings will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. ClearView Glass Railings’ warranty will be void in the event that full payment is not received for goods and services within the agreed time span under the terms of sale. ClearView Glass Railings makes no other warranty, either express or implied, regarding the product, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
This warranty excludes any claims whatsoever as to the performance of the product itself. Warranty for the product is limited to the terms, and conditions of the specific product manufacturers. No employee, representative, agent, distributor, or reseller of ClearView Glass Railings is authorized to modify this warranty. This warranty supersedes all previous ClearView Glass Railings warranties.
• THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE NON-TRANSFERABLE UNLESS AGREED IN WRITING BY ClearView Glass Railings AT THE TIME OF ISSUING THE WARRANTY.
• THIS CERTIFICATE WILL BE RENDERED INVALID WITHOUT AUTHORIZED COMPANY SIGNATURE.
